First day
Tomorrow is the first day of classes.
Normally, this would be a big day for me as we would hold our introductory lecture for APSC 100 in the evening. Now, their schedule is all switched around I don't know if they are doing that anymore.
BUT it will be a big day for me not because my job has anything big going on but because on the first day there are generally some scheduling problems and if they can't get the correct person in the registrar's office, they sometimes get me. And they have 200 students in the hall and someone else is in their room. Of course I can't fix problems like this, I just have to find someone who can. So. Exciting anyway.
I'll probably have proctors calling too as the forms went out on Friday.
At church today, James was funny with Joanne as he kept insisting she was in Australia. But that is JoannA, not Joanne. He hasn't forgotten you Joanna :)
He also told Joanne that he would call her each time he finished a level in his game. And she gave him her phone number. The game has 15 levels. He had 14 to go still when he came to church so he said he would call her 14 times. Lucky woman!
I wrote this quote down in 2007 and just came upon it again. It's by Francis Frangipane:
Get used to the idea that Jesus is seeking to perfect your faith. Plan on the fact that He will probably set you in some otherwise impossible situation to force your faith to the surface. Sooner or later, the real Jesus will require you to look the impossible straight in the eye and believe God for His power.

i remember going to a meeting with the person yo quoted at KGT many years ago. were you there? i remember going with sandy G. it was powerful. i may be off on this. have been before.
