aftermath

The evacuation zone has been reduced and James' school will be open today.

It took a long time to fall asleep last night. James only fell asleep when I stayed with him. I know there are a number of other anxious kids, hopefully they'll address that at school today.

I was thinking of this fire is terms of restoration. For many years the plot of land was barren- nothing on it at all, noone wanted to do anything with it. Then suddenly, it is restored on the outside. Though apparently very flammable. It looks nice on the outside, but it burns to the ground. Back to square one. The barren land. Sometimes progress has huge setbacks.
