and the roof comes caving in

Last week was a whirlwind as we started exams on Wed.. This next week is also full out with exams. Things lighten up next week as there are less exams in the last week of april.

We had rain on Friday and evidently there was a leak in one of our exam halls and the tiles caved in. Luckily it was in the hallway, not in the rooms they were actually writing in!

Al talked today about the breakfast that Jesus had on the beach with his disciples after the resurrection. How it was a story about restoration. Jesus had died and so the disciples had gone back to their old ways. The breakfast on the beach was a way of refocusing them for their lives. Especially for Peter.
James and I went to evening church and we looked at the book a 2 Peter and the speaker said how in the book about the last days of Peter, he never once says- I wish I had spent more time as a fisherman.

Actually, all Al talked about was cookies.

And Al tied the whole sermon together in the baptism of Jordan. It was really beautiful.

Though one wonders why he didn't play with the idea of baptizing IN the Jordan. :)
