Swimming pool

Apparently, my backyard is now a swimming pool. Get out the trunks!

Now that Myron is home all day, he is a soft target for telemarketers. We have a new subscription to the Star, which arrives at 5am and wakes me. So I called their office and they said they would tell the carrier to deliver it more quietly. We'll see how that goes.
Myron also almost bought some sort of wholesale groceries (that we don't have room for) and made an appointment with direct buy but I refused to go so he had to tell them no. That and the appointment would have been 1.5 hours. To try to sell us stuff we don't want. Sorry!

Today was the last day of classes. Whoo-hoo. I just hope the eye-puffiness from the lack of sleep and the tree pollen allergy go down!

Regarding the grocery deal, talk to Annette. Regarding Direct Buy, turn and run screaming like a banshee until they promise not to take your money. How do these companies survive? Persuasive salespeople and consumers who get caught off guard.
