The finale- should you laugh or cry?
Well, the Bach finale is over- bit of a train wreck this one.
It starts out with the two girls visiting his family and his family warning them off. They don't listen.
Then the final dates. JP and Clare fly by helicopter to the mountain in St. Lucia. While they were landing and there were no cameras rolling Clare claimed he leaned over and whispered something inappropriate to her. I was trying to figure out what happened to the cameraman as he/she was clearly in the helicopter when they were flying but Clare indicated that when they were landing he/she was no longer in the helicopter. Did they push him/her out? It's the details that cause me wonder.
They continue on the date, apparently with the elusive cameraperson and don't address the issue.
However in their "last hour" date back at the resort Clare does bring it up and somehow he turns it all around on her.
For their final date JP and Nikki go to the beach. For their "last hour" date Nikki gives him a photo and a nice note. Much better than Clare.
I don't think anyone was surprised to see that he gave the final rose to Nikki. What was surprising was the lack of emotion he seemed to show and instead of a happy ending the ending was Nikki nearly in tears.
The After the final rose was as awkward as the rest with JP not really answering questions and Nikki saying she'll stay as long as things are going well. So, deep commitment people!
On a completely different and serious note, Ben needs a miracle.
