mild concussion

At the hockey game last night James got a pass to his skate so he looked down to try to get the puck and a guy from the other team slammed into him so hard he got a mild concussion. He was in pretty rough shape last night but this morning was doing a lot better. He still had a headache but was looking perkier.
We went to a clinic to get him checked out but they sent him straight to emerg. They checked him with a number of tests and he was declared good to go. A week off sports. A rest day today and if he is feeling up to it, he can watch the hockey game tomorrow. Nothing to worry about, the doctor said. I had a pretty sleepless night worrying though.

He says his head feels better this afternoon and is silly and jokey again.

Now he wants a treat of dominoes pizza!
