snowmageddon in March

I went in to work very early, long before snowmageddon had arrived. Our office closed early (3pm) thanks to the terrible conditions.
I shoveled for 45 minutes after I got home and it was heavy snow. Quite a workout!
The main difficulty is the wind and it is blowing hard and that means it is drifting.
The backyard is quite sheltered so the pre-snowmagedon picture (mar 10)

actually looks worse than the during-snowmageddon picture I took today:

Mar 11 was a pretty mild day so we had a bit of a melt.
So it's not a huge volume of snow that is the problem, it is the blowing.
Hopefully this is the march coming in like a lion thing and it will go out like a lamb.
