When I called the school on Monday morning to tell them of James' pinkeye, I asked the secretary when he could return. She said 24 hours after he had the antibiotic eyedrops. Really? Because pinkeye normally only lasts 3 days. So he would miss 2 days of school with antibiotic eyedrops and 3 days of school if we waited it out. So he stayed out of school for 3 days. He's fine now and antibiotic-free. I think it's a bit excessive to have antibiotics for common ailments that will clear up on their own.

And now it is March break. James is looking forward to seeing Oma!
