I tried to set the bar low for myself. I only wrote down 2 things that I needed to do at work today. But I got to neither of them. I answered lots of email though!

Lovely day out though- James' class had a "Jingle bell walk". They were walking with their reading buddies (grade 1). Before school he had mentioned that he was going to get away from his reading buddy to talk to someone his own age on the walk. I told him that the little guy was looking up to him and he needed to be a good role model. Didn't help. He still spent the whole walk talking to Duncan about hockey. What did his reading buddy do? "He listened". Sigh.
