homegrown carrot

I pulled our first homegrown carrot from the garden last night to have with dinner. It wasn't huge- more medium size so the ones in the patch can still do some growing. We were having pizza and I wanted so carrot sticks to go with it. I asked James if he wanted to try one. He was concerned that it would be dirty. I'll wash it, I told him! He did try one and agreed- homegrown carrots taste better than store bought ones- hurrah!

I also took this picture of dinner from about a week ago- chicken tournados- quite good!
