crickets

I was playing around with my cell phone a month or so ago and I changed the tone that it makes when I get a text. Today I was working on the computer as I had to send a couple of messages to students and I heard a sound that sounded like crickets. Puzzled, I checked the cell phone and I found a message from my cell phone company telling me I needed to top up my account. My cell phone sounds like crickets now. I don't get a lot of text messages so it took a long time to test this new sound! I think I'll keep it- it reminds me of summer.

The weather certainly is NOT like summer and I'm not too keen on it. But certain 9 year olds love it! While I was shoveling snow, he was building a snow fort. Then he sat right where I was shoveling snow TO and let me cover him with snow so that most of his body except his arms and head were buried. He thought this was great fun! I'm still not convinced it looked anything like fun to me! I'm ready for summer already. As Marlene said, I'm ready to delete the weather from my friend's list!
